Individual Therapy. This is a ‘one-to-one’ style therapy, which involves the user and the counsellor having a very focused, more intense session. The patient is encouraged to open up about their deepest thoughts and fears regarding addiction. This includes deeply traumatic events that have negatively impacted their lives. The counsellor can help to revisit the experience, and reinterpret it in a healthier, more useful way.
